I am considering cutting myself off from watching the news or reading it via facebook or any other site. Everything here lately makes me absolutely sick. Today, for example, I log onto facebook where I am a fan of News Channel 5 Nashville and there is a story about a "mother" whos trial just started because she is accused of first degree murder of her 3 month old. We see this all the time and it is a shame that people can not just do the right thing. Instead this "woman" leaves her 3 month old baby in the car in Tennessee from 10am to 430pm and of course the baby dies. The baby, named Faith, had a temp of 103.8 and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Guess where the mom was that was SO important that she had to leave this innocent baby in her seat in the car...... AT A BAR.. What the hell are some people thinking. Why on earth is she even getting a trial! I know everyone is entitled to a fair trail and blah blah blah but seriously, that baby was entitled to LIFE! I do not understand what goes through the minds of some people when it comes to the well being of their children and this woman will get what is coming to her tenfold. I am not the best mother in the world but I do the best I can. I don't keep my house the cleanest house on the block but my kids are loved and fed and bathed and well taken care of. I wish I could say that for every child. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family that lost baby Faith. She is in Heaven where there is no hurt or neglectful parents in her life.
Sorry just my rant for the day, I was in tears after reading the story and I am outraged by the idiocy of some people in this world....
