Hey, It's a Job... Or two, or three, or four!!!

Here in Michigan everyone thinks that jobs are few and far between. On the contrary there are many jobs, many part time, full time, low paying, not-so-glamorous jobs out there to be had. In the matter of 2 months the Mr. and I have found 5 jobs. Most all of them are either minimum wage or 20 to 30 cents more than the minimum of 7.40 an hour. I left a decent paying job in Tennessee to be closer to family since they are more important than any job. I am not too bummed about making less money because I have a great family that is doing everything they can to make sure we have what we need to be closer to them. Sure, we dont have any extra money and we wont have any extra for a long time to come but I'll take it over not having family close and the 100 degree Tennessee weather! So, I am now working 2 part time jobs, one at TJ Maxx and one at Walmart. Both are fairly easy jobs with crappy pay but in the end they will make me enough money to pay the bills and thats what counts. One day I will be able to go back to school and have a career that I love, now is not that time. The kids will go to school in a few short years and so will I to make sure we have what we need and want in life. So for now I stock the grocery aisle at the local wally world and hang clothes up and run the cash register at TJ Maxx, not too bad if you ask me. The discounts are pretty sweet too!! I might not blog as often as I would like to but no one but my mom follows me anyways, LOL, love you mom!!!
